In Florida, we are a certified installer of Florida-approved roofing systems. Established in 2002, we install and repair tile, metal, shingle, and flat/TPO roofs across the Tampa–Naples corridor. Florida’s hurricane climate drives some of the strictest roofing regulations in the world — and our dual Florida licenses, fully insured operations, and decades of positive reviews reflect how seriously we take that standard.
Johnathan Leo, Horizon’s Regional Director for Southwest Florida, has been around Florida roofing for a long time. As a young teenager he helped his dad during the 2004–2005 hurricane season, when the company helped rebuild the Palm Beach area after Hurricanes Frances, Jeanne, and Wilma destroyed the region. Taught young the importance of Florida roofing — and its demanding, strict regulations — that experience molded him into one of the best roofers in the SWFL area. Today he and the team remain straight about what a roof needs: repair when it makes sense, full replacement when it doesn’t — with photos and a clear scope.
Horizon is prepared to execute work on any large complex or campus — institutional, corporate, or multi-tenant — with the ability to staff up to a 100-person crew on site depending on project scale. Experience on major commercial accounts such as Duke Energy, JLL, Bank of America, and The Colonnade (Coral Gables) illustrates that scale capability; it is not an exclusive client list. Large commercial flat and TPO systems, organized staging, and clean closeout are part of how we work.
We also specialize in discontinued tile repair — roughly 7,000 discontinued tiles warehoused across various models — so owners aren’t forced into a full re-roof when a match still exists.
